Yard Signs

Economy H Stands (Wire Stakes)

Size (Height/Width) & Sign Compatibility

  • Size is 10″ wide × 24″ tall for standard yard signs (~24″ wide) so the sign sits a good height off the ground.

  • There are smaller/shorter versions (e.g., for lower visibility or smaller signs) and heavier duty versions for larger or wind-exposed installations.

  • This will fit with all standard 4mm coroplast signage.

3. Installation & Ground Conditions

  • Installing is generally straightforward: push the stake into the ground, then slide the sign onto the vertical “legs” of the stake.

  • But if the ground is hard (rocky, frozen, compacted), you may need to soften it (water, pre-drill, etc.) or choose a heavier stake.

  • Also consider wind exposure: in a windy location you’ll want heavier duty stakes or maybe dual‐stakes for each sign.

4. Durability, Cost & Reuse

  • If you just need a sign for a short-term event, a lighter duty stake might suffice. If you need long use and repeated deployment, invest in heavier duty ones.

  • Galvanized or zinc-plated finishes help with rust‐resistance (important if you’re in Alabama with humid weather).

  • Bulk packs can reduce per‐unit cost if you have many signs.

5. Local / Regulatory Considerations

  • Always check any local regulations or HOA rules about how deep you can drive stakes into the ground, and where you can place yard signs (especially if it’s for campaign or real estate).
